Darius Clark Monroe’s "Slow"

Darius Clark Monroe is an award winning writer and director. He began writing as a child.  Monroe never thought his hobby of writing would be a great career for him. While at at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program, Monroe wrote/produced/directed the award winning short film ‘Testify’, which has screened at over 40 film festivals worldwide including the Cleveland International Film Festival, London Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival, and the Hollywood Black Film Festival.  Recently he released his short film “Slow.” The film won the 2011 Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival. It is a movie that will force you out of your comfort zone. Get into “Slow” below.
