Miss Lawrence To Join The Real Housewives Of Atlanta Lineup?

According to HSK,  Lawrence Washington aka Miss Lawrence along with actress Keisha Knight Pulliam, will be replacing Kim Zolciak and Kandi Burress.

 

Talk about stirring up controversy! Reality television is breaking barriers, with ATL’s roster of housewives being the first to have a transgender personality as one of their leading ladies.

I’ve been told that for the next season Kim Zolciak, who got her own Bravo spinoff show, will be replaced by Lawrence Washington aka Miss Lawrence. You nay know Miss Lawrence as the former hairdresser of sheree whitfield.

And that’s not the only set of changes happening with the ATL cast. Sources say Keisha Knight Pulliam, who played the character of Rudy Huxtable on the 80′s sitcom The Cosby Show, will be replacing Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi.

 

Not sure how true this is but if so, this would be VERY interesting. I am kinda used to Miss Lawrence ,considering that he is in every other episode so it’s fitting that he would be an official ‘house wife’.

Also it would be nice to see how Keisha would measure up.

In my opinion, it might not happen. The RHOA franchise is really drying up and not as entertaining as it once was. With Nene dipping into Hollyweird and the other two booking their own show, I just don’t see why Bravo would keep it going.

NeNe Leakes wasn’t too happy when she found out that actor Brian White had called her a racial stereotype” during a recent rant. The “RHOA” star took to Twitter to defend herself and said maybe he’s a little jealous that’s she booking acting gigs!

‘Down Low Bro’ Reality Show Coming Soon?

Word on these gay streets of Atlanta, there is a new reality show (like we REALLY need another!) is being shopped around.It’s featuring wait for it…..Down low professional men from ATL!

Following in the foot-steps of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” a new show was pitched to networks showing the real lives of gay black men in Atlanta.

 

The controversial reality show will reportedly display the secrets double lives of professional black men.  “We’re just tired of being straight during the day and gay at night.  Our community needs to at least respect us.  They don’t have to accept it, but please respect it,” said one participant in the reality show.

 

The pilot was secretly pitched for fear that religious groups would work to boycott the series.  As the show’s producer explained, “Especially the Black Church seems to think we want to encourage kids to be gay.  We just want to encourage people to be themselves”.

 

Bravo and other networks are reportedly in the running to land the series which will apparently feature at least one “well-know black celebrity figure”.

Out & About : The Ladies Of ‘Motor City Wives’ At Club Prive In Detroit!

As you may know by now, there’s a new “Wives” reality show in the works, and this new edition “Motor City Wives” takes place in Detroit with some familiar faces. “Flavor Of Love 2″ winner Deelishis, and Sara Stokes of “Making The Band 2″ and Da Band will star on the show. Former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick’s sister Ayanna Kilpatrick-Ferguson will also be on “Motor City Wives,” along with author Valencia R. Williams and transsexual diva Julisa.


You may have heard of Julisa, the diva who outed Jojo Simmons, claiming that he hooked up with her on twitter. (who went out of his way to deny the  claims since.) 


At first I wasn’t not really interested in seeing another ‘wives’ show for all the obvious reasons but since there is so much REAL scandals going on within this crew, I am interested in seeing what the show is about.


Unless you been under a rock , Deelishis (aka London Charles)  has been in the news, along with her husband Orlando Gordon. Rumor has it, that her husband is an undercover drug lord with a third grade education. Word is he is already in custody and Deelishis might get slap with charges as well. Hopefully we can get the tea on that.


Meanwhile, We haven’t heard much from  Sara Stokes since her infamous case with ex husband, who reportedly beat her up. Hopefully she will spill tea on the situation with ‘Da Band’ and Diddy along with other drama.

Just in case you can’t get enough of the buffoonery that is everywhere on television. There is new wives oriented show being shopped around. What do you get when you mixed Mafia Wives with Real Housewives Of Atlanta with a sprinkle of Love & Hip Hop?

Thanks in part to Rick Ross, BMF co-founder Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory has become a household name, even while serving a 30 year sentence for running a continuing criminal enterprise (aka selling a whole lot of coke). Rumor has it there’s a bit of friction growing between Meech and his lesser-known brother and business partner, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory.

Terry’s wife Tonesa Welch, who calls herself the “First Lady of BMF,” appears to be the Shaunie O’Neal of this whole venture and hopes to help tell Terry’s side of the BMF story. The other cast members include:

Gricelda Chavez, who was involved with music producer Damon Thomas (Kim Kardashian’s first husband). Damon was a player in a BMF money-laundering scheme involving jewelry purchases and, when confronted with the evidence, agreed to cooperate with the government as a witness against Terry.

Lisa Buford’s man “PJ” was a high-ranking BMF affiliate on Terry’s side of the organization.

Tiffany Gloster and her man Jerry “J Rock” Davis were both indicted by the DEA on BMF-related charges in 2007. Tiffany served a two year sentence for her part in helping to launder the proceeds from J Rock’s cocaine sales. J Rock is currently serving a sentence of 39 years and 10 months in prison.

Evelyn Lozada Is apparently leaving Basketball Wives & deleting her twitter. According to TMZ Evelyn is leaving due to the rumours VH1 posted about her cheating on Chad. Another rumor is, that she is pregnant..

As much as I don’t care for this chick, she IS the breakout star of the show. I personally think this will be the LAST season anyway and with the LA edition on the rise, it really doesn’t matter.

Queen Latifah Joins Dancing With The Stars!

 VH1’s “Single Ladies” creator is about to lend her hip-hop skills to “Dancing With The Stars?”  Sources are saying it’s almost a done deal for Queen Latifah.

Honestly never thought I’d see the day when Queen Latifah was fox trotting across the “Dancing With The Stars” ballroom floor.  But according to TMZ, she’s about to sign a contract to do just that for the next season of the show.

“DWTS” is usually for the D-listers trying their damndest to move up a few notches.  Or for folks trying to get their swag back.  But I’m not sure Queen falls in either of these two categories.  Despite the show’s producers saying earlier this year they want to amp up the quality of the cast of celebs for next season.  Will it be a good look for her?  Hmmm….

By the way, her competition, if she actually signs on the dotted line, will be Rob Kardashian and possibly Snooki andTiffani Amber Thiessen.  We feelin’ this?
